of the two pictured below is a 6&#39;0&quot; Goodwin Granger Colorado Special circa 1925. The reel on it is my very first fishing reel, an old, much used South

			<description><![CDATA[ Rather than using something simple like 64ths to indicate ferrule size, Heddon used numbers that (I think) have different meanings on different length rods, so
a 1 3/4 on an 8 footer is different than an 1 3/4 on an 8 1/2 foot rod.  I recall seeing a chart converting these to 64ths a while a while ago, but can&#39;t

A 8,5ft 3/2 rod will fit into a large suitcase or bag, so would make it ideal for travelling. Which 8,5ft 3/2 rods in 6/7, 7/8 and 8/9 (or 9) do you personally
use for your regular fishing or flyfishing travels.

I am most interested in vintage production models maybe that dont cost a fortune but are great fishing tools. Rods that you wouldnt kill yourself if they get
lost during transit.

The rod was on that site not to be named and was passed on at least one full auction cycle if not 2. Could not resist adding another 1 butt 4 mid 3 tip rod and
it is another one with a baleen tip and composite wood/scarfed nodeless bamboo tips Butt and mids are full calcutta. And it was a steal for the price. Love
