innovations by Powell, Reams and Brandin. I jumped into the band-wagon not realising that poor Chris had an avalance of orders to meet. Health problems also
affected his building time and I could only wish for his good health so that he fish (priority here!) and then make more rods including mine...

I spent last week fishing in Colorado and Wyoming almost exclusively with my Mike Clark 8&#39; 5 weight Ruby taper as I love fishing dry flies with this rod. 
So, I thought the bamboo resurgence was well into like it&#39;s twentieth year and was surprised when I uncased the rod on two different occaisions with guides

replace a 9&#39; 5wt graphite?  Perhaps I am asking too much, but usually I can&#39;t get closer to the trout in the glassy flats of some rivers.  They have a

rods with WF lines but often switch to DT&#39;s when fishing....  Personally prefer DT lines for everything up through 5wts but notice that above that I seem
to always line up a WF for the 6, 7 or 8 wts.  Curious what the overall preferences might be throughout the line weights for others.  TIA
