Taper Recommendation for Tournament Casting

I'm looking for some taper recommendations for a rod to use for ACA sanctioned tournament casting. The event is the 5 weight combined accuracy and distance. The line used must be a WF5F. The accuracy part has targets at 20 to 50+ feet, the distance part self explanatory. I was thinking of a rod around 8'. I'd be open to any action type - para, semi-para, progressive. Oh, and graphite is not an option.

Saltwater rod

I was wondering if anyone had any tapers of the older saltwater rods like the Heddon Riptide or the Payne "Bonefish" I am looking for something in the 8 1/2 to 9ft and 6-9wt class. Any suggestions, it would also be used for some large mouth bass as well. Thanks

Sutton River Rec Taper

I have a friend who is looking for the ideal rod for fishing the Sutton River in Northern Ontario.
This is what he thinks he wants.
"Need a three piece to throw size 12 dries and size 4 streamers 10 feet - 50 feet, and control 2-8lb fish in moderate flows"
Any suggestions?

Taper Modification for Different Line Size

I have a taper for a 7'6, 5wt(WF), 3pc rod that I've built several of. I really like the action and would like to duplicate it for a 4wt DT or WF. I know there's more than just dropping the numbers, but that's about all I know. Can anyone either advise me or point me in the direction where I can figure out how to do this?

I own an 8 ft. H-I Cascade rod, probably made at the end of the H-I cane production era, maybe early 1950s. It's actually a nice casting rod, along with being one of only two 8' 3-piece rods in their lineup. The other one is the Canada Creek, which is not all that commonly seen (along with being more of a 6-weight that I didn't find nearly as impressive as the Cascade.) Although 8 1/2' Cascades are seen fairly often, the 8' model I have is the only one I've ever run...

This is only the second time I have published a taper, which ought to tell you something. There won't be many who dislike this rod. It feels like a 6.5 footer in the hand, casts like a 7.5 footer, and is quite accurate. It's fast, without feeling stiff. Hello all-
I recently built the PY Boat Rod. It is a great rod for larger rivers, but I have had trouble roll casting it on tight waters such as the Pere Marquette (my home river). I was wondering if anybody out there had a taper that they would be willing to share so that I might build a rod that is more suited for these conditions. I throw some pretty big (4-5 inch) streamers that are also weighted. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Light 7' Quad Taper

I'm about ready to start my first quad and would like to build a short 3 to 4 wt. Does anyone have a taper suggestion for something in the 7' - 3 wt. range? I have a taper for an Edwards #25, 7' - 4 wt but can't seem to find much else. Any suggestions? Thanks, Ray
