With the Fishbanjo´s site info it seems to be a model 206 since this rod weights 5 1/4 oz. What do you think?

			<description><![CDATA[ Picked up a 10-foot Calcutta salmon rod that has some of the finest metalwork I&#39;ve ever seen.  My first reaction was that it had to be Varney of the
Central Valley era, but 2 things said no - the ferrules are not waterproofed, and the ends are feathered, but not serrated - just a series of very narrow-kerf
and quite short saw-cuts.  The males, however, look very Varney - they&#39;re two-part (not three), with a formed one-piece slide and a separate barrel

			<description><![CDATA[ hey guys, there is a guy who live next to me gave me some fly fishing stuff that was his grandpa&#39;s. There were several fly rods and reels, and the one that
caught my eye was this phillipson. Its a powr pakt 7&#39;6&#39;, 3 3/4 oz. It seems to be in real good shape, it is strait and all and the finish is in good
condition. the only wear is on the cork. It doesnt have the original rod tube or sock though. I was just wondering how much this rod might be worth. Here is

confirmation from someone who knows more than me (pretty much everyone on this forum !!)  Also, what vintage ?  I&#39;m guessing 1920&#39;s based on the small

about one inch longer than the other two sections when the butt section is assembled.

purchased this rod in 1943 and used it on 1 trip to Montana and it has sat ever since. It certainly appears that way. Any estimates would be appreciated.
