			<description><![CDATA[ Someone recently gave me a 9 pc rod, see pics.  It has 3 tips, apprears to be bamboo covered in a flexible black paint.  It came in a metal tube and had a
booklet regarding how to configure it for fly/spinning/bait/surf casting depending on configuration fo the various pcs.  I would appreciate any information you
can provide regarding history, maker, material, etc.  A search of the Web. turned up nothing meaningful.

 rod 1 is a nine ft Leonard it is a 3/2 rod it has no tube it also has a broken tiptop the broken section is their he told me he doesn&#39;t know how it
happen. The rods finish  is very nice. The other problem it has no  tube just a tip tube. Looks like the inter meditate are wrapped in a deep red the winding
check is also wrapped in red this also has a hook keeper. Eyes and ferrules are tight, Pat. on the ferrule reads 1878 .... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ This rod is 8&#39; 6&quot;, 3/1 but the cloth bag has 4 sections so probably was 3/2.  Came with bag &amp; AL tube with plastic cap, not certain it is
original.

Rod could use new guides, ferrules are good.  Funny that the snakes are rusty and ferrules, tip guide and butt cap are nickel silver.  Reel seat has wood
filler but alloy fitting.
<br>
I have never seen a rod with Jackson on it, maybe some makers model.  I assumed this rod was North American but action is soft, quite noodle.... ]]></description>

Williams Mills and Son Standard 9 1/2 foot light salmon bamboo rod built by Leonard circa 1915(? ) The rod has a sliding band real seat, swelled butt, a single
tip, and agate (?) guides. It has been scarfed and refinished. It casts a 6 weight 60 feet with a gentle haul. The Mills Standard appears with other steelhead

			<description><![CDATA[ Hi there.  Here is a 8.5 ft Heddon rod with no markings.  It has the red/green/yellow wraps which from M. Sinclair&#39;s book, could be either a 13 or 22, but
the 22 only came in a 9 ft (tips are not broken) and the grip was straight.  The 13 from 1932 is a decent choice, but this isnt a cigar grip; is it??  Again,
has no markings, but has Heddon stamped on the cap, so definitely an early rod.  I show the bag with the old wood block tip protector if that helps at all.

The rod is 9&#39;9&quot; consisiting of 3 sections, as well as a spare tip. The rod is hexagonal in section.
