			<title><![CDATA[ Backing? ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I have a sad admission to make---I&#39;ve never gotten anywhere near my backing in the trout fishing (all I do for now) I do. Even with some of the larger
trout I&#39;ve caught (decent sized but not the behemoth recently shown in another thread) I don&#39;t see HOW I COULD get to the backing. I was trying to keep
the fish from getting to cover or fast water. If I had let out enough slack to get to the backing the fish would have been three pools and 50 boulders away.

			<description><![CDATA[ For those of us who hunt birds,  how are the populations this year, in your experience ?  I&#39;m talking grouse and woodcock here.  Better than usual in my
personal covers.  On my first hunt, my untrained springer spaniel mix and me flushed 9 different grouse, and 2 woodcock in a 2 hour hunt.  That is a great
flush rate in my central NY state covers.  I know some of you lucky ones may scoff, and think that&#39;s slim pickins, but for me, it is a great morning.
