			<description><![CDATA[ Richard, one of my early reel customers (and as it turns out, a neighbor) fished one of our local streams yesterday (Sunday). In fact, this is the stream that
this reel model is named after - the <span style="font-style: italic;">Squannacook</span>. Richard had a successful day and sent me two &quot;family
portraits&quot; of his reel with a nice Rainbow and with the Prince Nymph he caught it on.

attached his side rings to the side plates by pinning them. After making this reel, its no wonder why current makers ask a pretty penny for this type of

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>Does anyone know a good source for PHY style reels seats.  I am building a Para 14 taper and a perfectionist taper and would like to use the screw down reel
seats that I have seen on many of the Young rods I have seen.  The hardware i am looking for has the cap where the reel seat slides in and does not require a
mortised spacer.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

			<description><![CDATA[ Hello,- I spent a wonderful vacation cutting corners the of Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana this August.

In a tackle shop North of Jackson Hole (Moose) I saw some nice, brand new bamboo rods for sale and I had a close look at them in the shop,- two Bellingers and
a Scott.
<br>
I was quite amazed about the high standard of workmanship. It can`t get much better I think, short nodes, flawless varnish, nice and thin uninterrupted
wrappings, beautiful hardware. A compliment to the makers.... ]]></description>

In looking at the spring posts on Hardy and similar reels, are such rivets still made and what are they called?  How are the posts prevented from going through
the plate of the reel cage?  Does it expand inside the hole drilled through the plate as well as bend over on the outside of the plate?  Or is it slightly
turned down where it goes into the hole, i.e. the shank of the rivet being slighly wider in diameter than the portion that is inserted into the hole),
