That&#39;s a difficult comparison to make. Your fixed check is a simple and elegant system, theirs is an adjustable drag. If adjustability is important to you,
the peerless system is a very nice solution.

nightmare  to get right......Horsesho has it right..stick with a simple click and pawl drag....plus the main thrust bearing is not a part thats easy to
make...it&#39;s one of the 2 reasons it&#39;s not easy to reverse one of those old classics to LHW..(the other is the opposite threaded reel handle spindle
that also needs to be reversed)...I... ]]></description>
