			<description><![CDATA[ Just acquired a honey of a Peerless DFS from the original owner.  The 80-year old gentleman could not remember the year his wife gave him the rod as a gift. 
He recounted several trips and specific fish with this rod and confessed he could no longer safely wade his favorite streams.  He wanted my assurance the rod
would see a river again.  Oh yeah, it&#39;ll see some time on the South Platte real soon.  The weather looks good for Sunday.

These are the two rods I am most thinking about for this new season. That said, I have a barely broken in JD Wagner 4 weight 7&#39;3&quot; quad and a Jeff

They&#39;re all just fishing rods Vic. The Tonka Prince is supposed to be a pretty fair rod itself. Never casted one.

			<description><![CDATA[ I just completed a 7&#39;-9&quot;, 3/2 for a 4wt.  It is based on a Thomas taper.  It is darkly flamed, with red wraps tipped with beige (which the varnish
turned to a milk chocolate color that just about disappears on the cane).  The reel seat spacer is made from a piece of walnut that was given to me by Royal
Wulff.  I am waiting for dries to start happening on our mountain streams in NC.
