But, after spending at least $17,500 on Tank's little misadventure, I have to wonder if Mr. Bobby Jenkins would do it all over again. For sure, he would have been more careful to spit.

A man said he saved his dog's life after sucking venom from a rattlesnake bite out of the animal's nose. Bobby Jenkins said he began feeling ill after getting his dog, Tank, to a veterinarian. He went to the hospital and received a dose of antivenin.
In all, Jenkins needed four vials of antivenin at a cost of $3,500 per vial.

I have two dogs, One yes and one that hates me and was inherited when my wife and I got married, I would have to say,,,,,,,, Hell no!

Until a few weeks ago I would have said "no way". But a few weeks ago, my daughter was running with our dog and encountered a "would be" attacker. My daughter panicked, the dog sensed it and chased him off. I now think of the answer to this question in a different way, now that I owe him one. Here is a pic of the two of them.

I love dogs, and animals in general, and while my dogs are my family, they are not human. I would not risk my life to save my dogs' lives, and it would surely cause me grief the rest of my life. I would, however, risk a great deal of injury.
