I heard some complaints later that some of the auction workers were buying the good stuff cheap before the cash and carry auction even started. Some Hardy reels were mentioned.

Oh, that is sad. Was the turnout weak, or is everyone just pinching pennies with the recession and all? I ran through the silent auction one time on my way to my daughter's soccer match at Dimond High, but didn't make it back until it was wrapping up. I guess I saved money without even trying... When did Cary Carrigan stop auctioneering?
