The big bugs mostly obliged, the best fish I heard about was one of 28". It should be an inch longer next year.
Rods from Dickerson, Young, Payne, Brunner, Edwards, Needham, Heddon, Thomas, Kushner, and Leonard, as well as current makers where available to cast. There where programs for casting, fishing bamboo, tips for rodmakers, beveller comparisons, and those interested in the literature, and bamboo rods in general.

Brown drakes have been on various rivers for 1-2 weeks, and the Hex are about to start.
Temperatures are climbing slowly and the rivers are in good shape.
