        <![CDATA[ Thanks to two rod forum members (who will remain anonymous so they won&#39;t be deluged with requests), I was able to
obtain some Dotterel substitute (dyed starling wings) and Curlew hackles to use in tying T. E. Pritt&#39;s No. 35 - Dotterel.





The flies on the left were tied with Pearsall Gold Gossamer silk and those on the right with Pearsall Straw Gossamer silk.  The top two flies were hackled with
the Ellis Slater&#39;s Dotterell sub (dyed starling); the bottom two flies were hackled... ]]>

PS - The BHPT soft hackles and the Pink Squirrel nymphs did attract some Spotted Dace, even though it was a VERY bright / sunny day. ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ve tied and used lots of softhackles with glass beads, and they have always been very effective.  I generally have used either clear or silver.
