        <![CDATA[ There were a couple of threads some time ago on Mr. Zhu and his unbeliveably cheap prices - although questionable quality.  I have just acquired, as an
experiment, a 3/4 wt reel and 3wt silk line.  The reel is virtually indistinguishable in the hand from one I bought from a US supplier at 4 times the price a
couple of years back and I would bet it was made at the same factory but with improved quality control. For example the drag is significantly superior in feel

I only yet got a few lines, because it&#39;s a bit difficult to hold back at that price, and have to say that in their new condition they are very
satisfactory. Will they be durable, as Kingfishers, Hardys or todays Phoenixes ? Time will tell... but I well remeember having bought European - German I
believe- made ones that did not look as good as Zhu&#39;s, and did not last... nor did the maker !

			<description><![CDATA[ I have one of the reels, purchased second hand off this forum, and for the $ I paid, it is well worth the money. Looks great on bamboo, very nice smooth drag
and click, and sounds really good with a fish on. For 1/10th the price of a famous old maker&#39;s reel, also made in the far east, I consider it a real gem. I
showed it to a couple of friends who appreciate nice fishing gear, and after examining it they both decided it was a very nice reel, and wondered who had made
it.
