From talking to the Hardy folks at the Fly Fishing show this year, it was my understanding that the Bougle Lightweight III got its name due to using the same color scheme as the Lightweight reels (LRH, etc) and the III designates its 3" size. The spool and winding plate are anodized a light gray, while the frame is anodized dark gray.
