        <![CDATA[ I have a Beaverkill fly rod that belonged to my grandfather who  recently passed away. I am trying to get an idea of what it is worth. It was bought in the
1930&#39;s. When assembled it is about 9&#39; 2&quot; long, it consists of 3 pieces that are the same length. It comes with 2 tips and they are in a silver
tube. It does come in a marked bag and on the rod itself it is marked &quot;beaverkill&quot; and also &quot;Utica, N.Y&quot;. I would say it is in very good

			<description><![CDATA[ That back in the day , a LOT of 9 footers were made. And because they are rather heavy, they aren&#39;t as popular today as they were 50 years ago ( maybe
we&#39;ve all become wimps). Also, they are common and therfore not very collectable. Oh, and one more thing is that it&#39;s a prodution rod. All that said,
in the right place they can fish quite well.
