Just finished watching the Lost World of Mr. Hardy and they feature an English rod maker named Ed Barder. His rods look beauitful and was wondering if anyone
out there have had any experience with his work. The company is called the Ed Barder Rod Company.

tapers.... Leather tube and silk bag with ferrule plugs standard. He makes coarse fishing rods and nets, also. I have never owned one, but have cast 2 while
in Europe and seen a few...

The finish on a Barder rod is up with those produced by the very best and he is probably up with the top ten or top five rod makers in the World.

He is best known here in the UK for his Coarse fishing rods.
