        <![CDATA[ To me, the biggest missing piece of the HL Leonard / Mills history has always been the Mr. Kidder (Boston) discussed by Mary Kelly, A. J.
Campbell and everybody else whose ever written about Leonard. No one has ever found him. He&#39;s supposedly the man who bought a major interest in
Leonard&#39;s company and soon thereafter sold it to Mills.

 I&#39;ve stumbled onto a possible lead?  I bought three more volumes of Forest &amp; Stream at Lang&#39;s in April. On page 181 of Volume

I&#39;ve got an ad for Kidder in New York selling Leonard rods as his &quot;exclusive agent,&quot; obviously pre-Mills...I&#39;m on vacation so I won&#39;t be
able to access the files for some time but send me an email and I&#39;ll scan it for you. Leonard, I believe, remembered incorrectly when he said &quot;Kidder
of Boston&quot; in his famous letter before his death. I believe Kidder was based at the time in New York.
