If you have one, what do you think about it? Do you fish it or are you saving it or collecting it? Do you think it is worth the money and do you think they
will appreciate in value? Is the current run of 500 reels it, or does Hardy plan to make more in the future?

Been thinking of getting a 3 1/8" LHW, but I'm hesitant to plunk down that kind of money...
Geary - I'd be a bit leary of trying to fit a DT-6 on the new 3 1/8" Perfect. A WF-6 will work fine, but my backing is about 40 yards with a DT-5.

I have 3 1/8" LHW and very happy that I put my money on it. It's great looking and sounding reel. Just the Perfect I want to own. I just hope
they'd done 3 3/8"' s as well. Let's hope that rumours of St.George's in 2010 and hopefully also in size 3 3/8" would be true.

I have a 3 1/8" LHW. If you're going to fish it, you will not be disappointed. I love mine...it is smooth, tough and well-made. It is quickly becoming
one of my favorites.

The few complaints that seem to be around about the new Perfects are small issues if they remain as a limited edition. There has been some vocal displeasure
at the cost and how they could have taken the extra step of little things like a strap over the tension regular (that would have been very cool). Overall if
you want to fish a LHW Perfect they are groovy. Personally if I fished RHW reels, I'd go for vintage, but since I'm stuck in the camp of being a LHW
wind guy, they live up...

I took the plunge earlier this year and acquired a 3 1/8 inch LHW version and do not regret it at all and use it frequetly.

The big plus (like the St. George 3 " from about a decade ago) was being able to acquire these in LHW. If I were comfortable with RH wind would have
probably chased after some older reels - Perfect, St. George, Dingley etc. But in trying to refrain from being a collector of reels (still have about 10 more
than I really "need") went with...

Fabulous reels! I own a 2 5/8 inch LHW model, and it's being used frequently with 2wt bamboo and graphite. I'm sure they will appreciate in value,
especially when production stops at 500 each, but I personally hope this Perfect will be here to stay. If only the prices would just drop a bit...
