The rod is 10' and looks pretty run-of-the-mill to me. Does anyone know the maker and when it may have been made?

Thanks.

Any rod that old, and in as good of shape as yours, is a nice rod, indeed!

Thanks Ed and Rex.

The tip sections have 3 rings and it does have a low-end look about it, doesn't it. Still, for a 10-footer to survive with two full-length tips is
kinda' cool.

Thanks again.

Dean,

All of the hardware is standard Montague, from the low end of the line. If it has 3 or 4 ring guides on the tip sections, it was probably built by Montague,
rather than Chubb. Montague covered the lower end of the line very well, and Chubb typically did not make many (if any) lower-end rods like this one. I would
guess it was built around the turn of the century, because it has ring guides and appears to be made of Calcutta cane.

Yours looks like it's in...

To quote our departed from the forum friend Marty, the rod appears to be a Chubbague(Chubb/Montague lineage).

Just my 2 cents,
