I have been long aware that some makers move their shops to &#39;better&#39; climates in order to optimize the curing of cane.  For instance going from SCal to
the AZ foothills, or from the PNW to Idaho.  The thinking is that drier (and maybe higher altitudes) make for better cane behavior.  Sometimes I suspicion that

If the flows are favorable earlier then Spuce is more than welcome to my share so long as you both let me know what I missed, both in the fishing and the
quality of the burgers :-).  My offer to pop for the beer still stands if one or both of you can join me in December, or next spring.

If you figure out access, the East Branch has a lot of nice fish; mostly nymphing. Its not heavily fished.  Some of the really good West Branch creeks have
declined, but some are still surprisingly good.  Spanish Creek was really good years ago before Turner shut it off.  I had to get permission, but was never
refused. I don&#39;t type in the names of the few good ones still left. Too many watchers.

Taken alone, I agree Bozeman&#39;s food is lacking.

<p>But I much prefer the local flavor (literally).  Big rancher breakfasts at the Montana Club are my usual eyeopener, and cafes in little towns like Drummond
(Wagon Wheel), Stevi&#39;s (downtown - ahem - Stevensville), and the River City Grill are wonderful studies in tasty Americana - the way it usta be, and still

			<description><![CDATA[ Marty - re genuine Eye-talians:  turns out that there are quite a few.  During WWII, Fort Missoula interned POW&#39;s from Italy.  Most of the native menfolk
were off doing war things, rather than ranching and farming, so&#39;s the POW&#39;s were pressed into the gap.  Most of them thought they died and went to
heaven, since they got 3 squares (something a lot of them were not getting under Mussolini) and the weather wasn&#39;t all that bad (for MT).  Quite a few of
