        <![CDATA[ Can someone give a little history about Mr. Brandin. He is obviously on the list of &quot;elite&quot; makers; however, the only reason I know this is by simply
observing the ginormous prices his rods sell for on the secondary market.  I&#39;m not trying to start anything negative, just wondering what the history is of
this maker that creates such a buzz around his rods. Thanks.

hollow built rods in general , but I seem to enjoy the simple qualities of my Heddons, Edwards &amp; Thomas rods more than any I have used. I know I have never

This is one of the most insightful and well thought out posts I have ever read on this forum.  All of the points you make are valid and actually in my opinion
are understated.  I too have been fortunate enough to have attended a lot of Lang&#39;s auction as well knowing someone who has over a dozen Brandin&#39;s.  I
have been able to handle a wide variety of his rods and he is probably the second most innovative rod maker in terms of action behind only Paul Young. </p>... ]]></description>
