I enjoyed "The Rise" quite a bit, as well as "American Fly Fishing", which is a have-to-have book I feel. Some of
the others do digress into all kinds of semi-related areas (western history, natural history, etc) in which I often lose interest. I think hs writing is very
good, its my interest that often dies out....... He does have a bunch of books.

I just got done with the book 'If Fish Could Scream' and I'm in the process of writing a review of it. IMHO it's the best book in the
fly-fishing genre I 've read all year. Interesting topics that really made me think.
