Great pictures everybody! I enjoyed browsing the topic.
I hope it's ok to add this picture, my Golden Prince on a trip to the beach this summer.

The Millers River in north central Massachusetts is a wide and often wild eastern flow that holds richly varied and even remote sections as it runs through
numerous old Mill towns and forests. While best known for its Brown's, here's an early Autumn Rainbow taken with my Leonard 49DF, and an Allcocks
"Marvel".

Very nice photo. The Millers is a bit east of me (Cummington) but it looks like nice water, even along rte.2 I recall reading that it was a favorite stream of Ted Williams when he had a day off and could get out of the city. |

Mark S - That is not just a great photo, but one that tells a story of the battle that ensued with that amazing bow.........it would appear that during the battle the crack in the fossilized tusk handle of your reel finally gave way and that you still managed to land this behemoth without it

The rod is a Schroeder 5 weight , i can't wait to get my quad from don ,he called me yesterday but i was out floating on the river all day as the weather turn warm for a few days and i missed his call , he must be close now then, and whats funny is if you look at mark shamburg picture with the reel under the water with the handle missing , i have that reel on order from him for a match with the Schroeder quad , what a wonderfull site for neet pictures , both you guys posted cool looking pictures , with your stone picture , did you hit the hatch when you were fishing then mark shamburg i sold a reel to guy last week who has a big big suppy of the material you used on that reel , he also has pure black ebony that would make a wonderfull handle , pm me if you want his email , he said he would make handles
