This is the prototype for a new model I will be introducing in late 2009.
It is all stainless with type 7075 aluminum spool plates at 8 oz.
Let me know what you think.

Very, very nice.
The handle is beautiful and I like the size of the grip. I wonder how much weight would be lost if the foot were aluminum. TC |

Thanks TC!
Making the foot and spool hub from aluminum would take alot of wieght out, but that would be a different model. Alot of people like the look of stainless, though I ould make it any way a guy would want. Holireels-----about 3 weeks. |

Steve, wow...
Please be considerate, don't ever let me get my mitts on one of those..in-hand! Really. Living across the border from you...Really! I have enough troubles as it is. I'm a tool designer (because I can't drill a.50 dia. hole straight) and mingle with the toolroom boys often. Some beautiful machining and proportions to be seen here. Lovely reel!! Jeremy. |

I will post a pic of the insides next time I load some pics,
I'm guessing the aluminum foot and hub will take at least 3to4 oz. out. I will let you know when I get some finished. Stefan |
