And to have fished with a wordsmith of Mr. Van Dyke's caliber would be un-imaginable!!!! three of my favorite pieces by Mr. Van Dyke are; Fishermans luck , Little rivers and Days Off your gnome Jeff

Posts: 237 11/26/2008 12:07	As a young university student I had the wonderful opportunity of spending a day guiding Lee Wulff when he and Joan visited South Africa in 1989. We ended spending most of the day sitting on a large flat rock on the Witte River talking about all sorts of stuff. I remember we shared a ham and cheese sandwich and Sprite. He was one of the most interesting men I have met and the day stands out as being more exceptional as the years roll on. Tom
