Posts: 9 12/11/2008 05:46	Tags : None Hi I lost the spring and screws of my Hardy two screw latch St John down the sink drain .By some miracle I retrieved them from the waste .now need to reinstall them .Do any of you know of a diagram that could help .Its a two pin arrangement with a flange on the lever .I could open up another reel to look ,but the spring is so small I am a little reluctant to push my luck any further .If any one can help it would be very much appreciated .thank you in anticipation geoffrey

Posts: 111 12/11/2008 16:50	I have found that some duct tape folded stick side together so it will slide out helps to keep the spring in place untill you get the screws started.Maybe just me but I,ve always found that the hardest part Daryl

Posts: 45 12/15/2008 08:59	If you put in the pin and arm and lay the spring where you need it before you put on the latch and then turn it all a bit you can first screw in the little screw on the left in the picture first. After you turn the latch in place you can easily screw in the other one as well and you won't have to fiddle around with tape.
