Thinking about upgrading my rod wrapper.anyone using one of these from Golden Witch.If so what do you think of it.

Got this model this Fall. It has improved the quality of my wraps. It adjusts easily. Its pricey but I didn't have time to build a wrapper from scratch.

I saw this wrapper in California 20+ years ago, long before GW bought them out. I was so impressed with it that I came home and made one out of redwood instead
of acrylic. I have been totally satisfied with the design. I personally made a couple of goofs that have resulted in the occasional aggravation, but not so
annoying that I have deemed it essential to rebuild that part. Both are in the thread carrier/tensioner arm. One of the problems I have with mine is I have the
grain of the wood running the wrong direction, making it vulnerable to breaking when dropped. This won't be a problem with the acrylic version. The other
is that I could use a little more clearance between the thread/tensioner support and the mounted blank.

I used without problems the GW wrapper machine for many years. I must confess tha I made a little modifications to get the best of it. First I add more weight to the rod holders using two bronze tubes and second I add two tension wires that let me go back 5/10 turns if something happen and I don´t like it.

You may want to look at the Sully's wrapper. It is a nice wrapper and incorporates a similar aparatus like Marcelo's. I believe anglers workshop and
others sell them. I like mine!!
