Does any one know of some one who builds hand made wooden kayaks? My cousin is looking for one. I am not sure what type of water she intends to use it on.

Thanks for thinking of me Harry. I build canoes and kayaks and will occasionally take on a project for a friend, but I'm not in a position to take on a
commission at this time. Too many other projects need to be completed before I can consider it. My next boat building project will be a square stern canoe for
me and the kids. I'm over a year behind in starting that project.

WOW, that is extremly nice. I passed the info on to my cuz. The way that I understand it is that money is not an issue. The boat is to be a wedding gift to
her future husband.

Below are a few links your cousin might check out. Also, having a kayak built poses a few problems your cousin should consider. One, most reputable builders are like quality rod builders and they may already have boats on order for existing customers. So there may be a wait period to get one. Second, a kayak is like a good fitting shoe, you need to try it on. Someone else buying you shoes or a kayak is very nice nice but they / it may not be a good fit.
