Same here. Please put me down for a t-shirt, large. If you don't mind, please give it to Sante. (He can send it with Andre's if that's okay with
him).

As long as people are bringing 'stuff', I'd love to try out some of the modern silk lines (Phoenix, Zhu's, etc.). Bring 'em if ya gottem.

Hi all -- wanted to make you aware of the new official "event page" for SuperBoo -- (www.flyfishinginmaine.org/superboo/) -- I'll try to make sure the latest and greatest info is here
(i.e. T-shirts, etc.) along with any logistical information. Hope this helps.

Sounds like a great event. Will be making the trek from Northern NJ and will bring several Pentalux rods. Really looking forward to meeting some of you - had
the pleasure of meeting Kathy Scott at the Art of the Angler show in CT where she highly recommended this event... Can't wait.

Hi,
Thanks again for so much support for the kids program (through the t-shirts) and for all the good words. We're looking forward to a great day on the 7th. In case you haven't attended before, just a couple details. You don't have to bring a rod, or, if you do, you certainly don't have to put it out for general casting. It's your call, and our school cannot accept any responsibility for the fly rods at the event. That said, I always put mine out, and most people do. :-) The orders for shirts close Friday morning, and there is a special coffee available (wood and bamboo fire roasted). http://www.flyfishinginmaine.com/forum/ A pizza lunch is available for purchase from the kids, but various attendees bring along snacks and some assorted breakfast food. Coffee and water will be available. Be sure to ask if there's anything I've left out. Kat (David, Hutch, and the kids of LHS and rodmakers and anglers of FFIM)

Our paths crossed at Roscoe last year. Well said about the motorized morons on the highways and byways. It is the same in Michigan, the only exception is that the buggers are pulling a snowmobile trailers as well. If and when Michigan re-institutes the death penalty ( it was the first state to condemn the practice.........maybe poor choice of words). it will be a bottle of booze and snowmobile. The bamboobash sound like it is a wonderful place to meet like minded souls. If you can get there, you should go! Peter |

Looking forward to this weekend, and so many good friends.
Not to jinx it, but here's the weather forecast: .THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY...PARTLY CLOUDY. LOWS 5 TO 10 ABOVE. HIGHS IN THE UPPER 20S. .FRIDAY NIGHT...MOSTLY CLEAR. LOWS 10 TO 15. .SATURDAY...PARTLY SUNNY IN THE MORNING...THEN BECOMING CLOUDY. HIGHS IN THE LOWER 30S. .SATURDAY NIGHT...CLOUDY WITH A 30 PERCENT CHANCE OF SNOW SHOWERS. LOWS AROUND 20. Even so, the school is holding at 62 degrees this morning, so, while it should be warmer Saturday, the gym could be a bit chilly until we warm it up. Just a reminder that this is a free event, comrades and cane are #1, but we will ask everyone to pause briefly to sign in and leave an e-mail or telephone contact just in case a rod is left behind (yes, it has happened, amazingly!). See you Saturday, Kat (and David and Hutch and all) |
