It's a great start to the contest. I certainly didn't expect the quality & number of responses. Fun.
Am going to have to buy a box of mailers. And my printing bill -- oh my.

Anger clouds the eyes
like alligatored varnish on a classic rod. Swallows dance at dusk, traceries of flight sublime; Cane in hand, I muse. A single rise ring, another and another, the cycle renewed. 80 year old ferrules
