The threads in the photo are from Bessie Bailey's thread box which was in the Payne shop when I purchased the shop and equipment.
the first 2 spools are American Thread Co. Sphinx Brown #547 size ?. The next 2 spools are Belding #998 Wine and #997 Green size 3/0. Next is Cutter #207 Yellow size 3/0 Next B+C #5115 Henna. size A Next Holland #241 Brown size 2/0 Next 2 spools are Heminway Brown size 2/0. I can't find a # on the Heminway spools. American thread info comes from a 1932-34 invoice listing 12 spools per box at 40 cents a box. min purchase was 10 boxes of one color. Best Hal.
