I have fallen on some hard times and feel like I've been put through the ringer recently and I want to apologize for being out of the loop. 2008 was a tough year for my family and I and '09 started out looking dim too (literally, we had no power or heat for two weeks recently due to an ice storm). I'm back in my shop now and catching up on my work load. I really hope the rest of this year goes smooth. I've had to cut back on a few other things I had going on in order to concentrate on taking care of myself, my family and my rod customers. It's funny how life can change your priorities for you in an instant!
I want to thank the entire bamboo rod community for all of your support in the past and for your continuing support in the future. This community has been very good to me and my family and a lot of you have gone above and beyond in helping us out. My wife and I were left speechless and with tears in our eyes when we received a very special card after this years SRG. All I can say now is thank you!
So after falling off the the horse and then getting kicked in the jewels and stomped on, I'm dusting myself off and getting back in the saddle again!
I look forward to catching up with all my friends so if you want to shoot the bull, please call anytime. And if anyone has any questions about rods, workshops, repairs & restorations, chemicals, fishing in NE Arkansas, duck hunting in flooded timber, jammin' (guitar, drums, or whatever) or just general BS, please drop my a line, I promise I'll bite!
