I have a question about Wes Jordan Battenkills resulting from a discussion on the Northeast Virtual Fly Fishing Bulletin Board that started about winter
fishing moving to spring to cane:

I recently started fishing bamboo rods again after selling most of the cane rods I owned back in the '80's. My present goal is to own/fish reasonably
priced classic reproduction tapers made by current builders like: AJ Thramer, Art Weiler, etc. I also own two Orvis Battenkill which I have only thought of as
"vanilla flavor" cane. However, the thought of owning a Battenkill made by, or under the watch of, Wes Jordan has some real sentemential value to
me. I'm not interested in the economic worth of such a Battenkill, but the thought Jordan was associated with it is special.
My question is, is there any way of knowing which Battenkills were made by Wes Jordan?
Thanks.
Ed
