Hey Paul -
Thanks for posting the pics..........and WOW seeing a 1/0 Vom Hofe, a 1/0 A.L. Walker, and a 1/0 Zwarg, in the same reel case is best described by a phrase that Ken has used in the past...... That is One Heck of a Hat Trick !!

turtledoc wrote:Heck Mark,,you know the story attached to 2 of those reels, esp the 1-0 (not so pristine ) EVH.....I don't post much cause I got burned a few times and don't want to appear to be self serving...but I was bored waiting for fishing to start and anyone who loves classic reels just never gets sick of seeing a few pics......at least the snow here is almost gone....and the salmon will be back soon...blame my post on spring fever and the happy state of mind I'm in now knowing that my rebuilt "Golden Salmon" rod by master rod builder Marcelo C is on the way back to me from Argentina...I will try my best not to abuse such a masterpiece again...

Paul -
I smiled when I saw the EVH again and remembered its storied "past"...... Say, what diameter are those 1/0 reels? I thought the 1/0s were 3 1/8 inch, but compared to one of your salmon reels off to the right which I know is a hair under 3 1/4 inches, they look smaller than I had recalled.......and certainly smaller than 3 1/8th?
