If the mounting surface for the reel foot is flat (generally post-war models), you'll need a "New" Young Pfoot.
If the mounting surface for the reel foot is curved (generally pre-war models), you'll need an "Old" Young Pfoot. These details clearly explained and illustrated with photos on Bill's website here: http://www.onepfoot.com/youngpfeet2008.htm My experience with Young Pfeet is that they are finely made items that fit well, function perfectly and are finished beautifully. |
