I've been casting some SWEET light [graphite] spey rods, 12'6"-13' for 4/5/6. What a kick! I'm curious if any builders make a light bamboo
spey rod of the above mentioned lengths & weights? Has anyone ever seen/cast one?

I made a hollow-built 10' 6wt? 3 piece because I thought it would be a fun to learn to two-hand and fun to fish. Maybe not the perfect material for this
rod or at least the taper I used. Mine is kind of a beast and have not figured it out yet. Research showed some classic spey design and some great modern
bamboo rods from the northwest, but I made the mistake in assuming my bamboo rod would be similar in any way to a 10-13' graphite rod. There is an article
in cyberspace about a taper conversion of a PHY Para stretched to spey and the results were nice according to the maker.
