have a couple of our forum members in for fishing , weather has been cold and not the best , fishing was slow but we did pull off a few over 20 , forum member
'' seabass '' dan hooked 9 and landed 6, and 4 were over 20 this morning , 2 were browns best day was friday as the sun was out , i picked
up a pretty good brown 22 , we thought we'd share some photo's for everyone to enjoy

Beauty! Those Alberta pics have me itching to go home. Rich, I'm back in AB roughly April 28 to May 4 - will be fishing some lakes in MT, but plan to go to
Calgary for a day, processing my passport. I'm doing that in the am, but are you up for an afternoon float? Mark

i just might be able to take you for a float , at this time the ice banks still high to get a boat out in the best place , we can fish the upper and do a small float , but i have something better and you call me at my home ,as i sooner not post it here , we will get a timing and i'll take you for the afternoon

why don't you just spend a little of your musty ol money and come play with them yourself , be better if you was on the end of the rod don't you think , and bring that hardy special perfect of yours and give it a good try out

Rich, you better ditch that orange vest before I come or else I'll be calling you Andre all the time.
 Do you inflate the size of your fish or the length of your cast by 40% like he
does (being the originator of the Andre units of measure)?

now don't be making fun of my new vest , if your friend andre has the same vest then he must be a classy guy , i don't like to wear a vest , only when walking in to spots , so andre has a hard time telling what a true inch is ,

If you ever go to New Zealand don't take that vest those PHD browns will spot you in a second and split to never be seen again. Dennis |

Hi Dan and Rich. Dan, looks like you had a good trip with a bit better weather! Were you and Rich chucking streamers or little nymphs? By the way what rods and
reels did you bring on the plane? Are you going to make it out again this summer, hope we can fish sometime. WLYBGR.

Vaughn,
Since I was packing these on the airplane we only fished plastic rods. We fished some streamers, Rich caught that nice brown on a muddler, I caught a couple fish on streamers but nothing big. We nymphed for the rest of these fish. We will be out again in September for a week. Hope you can make it over and fish with us again. Take care, Dan |
