This is our main fund raising event of the year. This year we will be honoring Mr. Bob Summers for his many years of dedicated support of Trout Unlimited. As in past years, banquet tickets are still priced at $50.00. If you purchase your banquet tickets before April 20^th, you will be entered in a special drawing to win $100.00 worth of free bucket raffle tickets. In addition to many other nice auction items, including a very rare Jim Foote Au Sable riverboat print, this year we are conducting a special raffle for a 7'3" 5 weight Special Edition TU 50th Anniversary "Griffith Special" bamboo rod, built by Bob Summers, together with a Peerless 1.5 reel. The rod is an exact replica of the rod Mr. Summers built and gave to founder George Griffith on the occasion of TU's 25th Anniversary celebration. SPECIAL BONUS!!! If you purchase a total of ten or more rod raffle tickets, AND you are the winner of the fly rod, Bob Summers will take you on a personal fly fishing float trip in George Griffith's Au Sable River Boat. Bob donated the rod to us, and it is a very special rod. All money raised goes to the resource (Au Sable and Manistee Rivers). Paypal is now working. Many thanks to the Clark's List family for supporting us by buying a ticket. With this years contribution it will mean that the Mason-Griffith TU Chapter will have supported and funded local conservation projects to approximately $100K since 2003. This is Hendrickson time, the last of the snow is gone, bugs are hatching and fish are starting to look up........... life is good, and getting better. Tight lines,
