Hi I just picked up a first edition and signed copy of the William Mershon's book Recollections of my Fifty Years Hunting and Fishing at a garage sale.
Though I am a avid book collector I have never heard of William Mershon and was shocked when I looked up the value of the book. It is a good read especially
when he devotes a chapter to catching grayling in Michigan.
Can anyone out there shed any light on why this book is so expensive and can anyone recommend a book collector of dealer that would be interested in purchasing the book. Would think it might be a hot item for people that are interested in Michigan Hunting and Fishing history. Are there any book dealers in Michigan that might specialize in fishing and or hunting books
Thanks Bob at bohemianflyfish@aol.com
