Try using steel leader for your wire. Comes in a cool semi-blued color and plenty of diferent diameters.

The wire leaders at Bass Pro aren't large enough in diameter for snake guides. The smallest recommended wire diameter for snake guides I have seen is 0.5 mm and the Bass Pro leaders top out at 0.035 mm. The largest recommended wire diameter for snake guides I have seen is 1.1 mm; quite a bit larger than anything that Bass Pro lists. Wire strings for musical instruments (piano, guitar, cello, etc.) will work, and the diameter range is quite large. Frank |
