That's quite lovely Piglegs. I've seen many blonde quads from Don but never a dark flamed stick. Absolutely beautiful workmanship! That helps me with a
decision I must make. Thank you again.

Just stop it already guys. I know I asked for it but........... Give me a sec to wipe the drool. Looks like you both got your rods pretty close to each other.

i'm like you when it comes to these bamboo rods , i don't think any is as nice as flamed rods , something about them that just makes me fall all over for them , i have seen dons rods and they are just stunning to look at , has that dark orange tint to them with the dark blacken hue , they just stand out , and with a quad i don't think you'll ever be regreting buying it , what size you going after

Well Richard, putting aside my "dealer" hat and donning my "bamboo nut" hat I gotta tell you I have a soft spot for the darker flamed rods
as well. Especially when you get a quad with a bit of butt swell and those big flats.
But as you well know Richard if you're gonna bring the pretty gal to the dance on Friday night she better be able to dance. I called Don up and he had some rods ready to go in his shop for immediate sale. Among them a 7' 9" 2/2, #5 quad and a 8' 2/2, #4 quad both dark flamed models. So happens the 7' 9" was just cancelled by another fella so timing as they say............... Dan |
