Thats impossible fishing you had there Mark! Well done and for some it would be difficult to find fun in presenting a size 16 adams to a 12in trout again. |

Winston, I had a pretty standard double nymph rig. Some of the more successful flies were small black leeches, eggs, and red midge larva and pupa. Maruoff, That's actually exactly what I'm looking forward to now. Fishing at night in below freezing conditions for big, tough fish isn't exactly what you'd consider low stress fishing. Pretty much everything around me is blown out now so for the next few weeks I'll probably be concentrating on building rods and fishing still waters. But once run off subsides I can't wait to get up to some of the small mountain streams and fish some big bushy dry flies for some little, less educated fish. Mark |
