I recently found some unused spools of Rice's Rod Winding Silk, A, 50 yards. There are spools of red/black , green/black and orange/black varigated silk
thread. Is there any value to these spools of thread?

I think that silk variegated thread is fairly hard to come by so yes they do have some value. In fact I would think that many people would like to have them.
