Once upon a time, in the midst of a raging thunderstorm, I was catching fish after nice fish on the Madison River below Quake Lake during a wonderful Flav
hatch.
At the time I was very fearful my graphite rod and I would end up looking like the above photo! However, we both survived. Best regards,

EDIT: Watch the news video for an interview with the father and son in the link above. The father is a rod builder, and believes that the graphite may have saved his life. Don't know if I follow the logic, but........
