Just for your viewing pleasure.
 I'm deep in photo editing toward the Dingley book
& cropped & tweaked this image of agate & brass reels a few minutes ago... A couple of Perfects, a couple St Georges, a couple trout reels.

Pat, Just curious...Is that an original Dingley box? Any markings on it? I really like the looks of the reel inside!

Two original Dingley boxes--and bags! No markings on either. What we don't know is whether they were supplied by Dingley's shop or whether the retailer
furnished the niceties. These were both thanks to Rich, and have moved on to a new home across the pond. The little WHD on the right is one of the sweetest Ds
I've ever handled. Quite delicate.
