Its under 20.00 US and I feel a bargain. Peter Keen passed away as the book was being finished. There are pieces on Dermot Wilson, High Falkus, Charles Ritz, Ted Hughes, T-C Kingsmill-Moore and a few other fly fishers...... Keen took the photos in Ted hughes book of poetry "River". Posts: 155 06/23/2009 08:59	CC A lot of good books coming out of the publisher - I really look forward to Terry Lawton's book about George Selwyn Marryat - who is an overlooked legend, It seems to be mostly the really hard-core dry fly people who really appreciated this personality and perhaps the real and true master behind a good deal of Halford's fame. Posts: 2240 06/23/2009 12:24	Yes, Reeldane, I am waiting for the Lawton book on Marryat myself - if there ever was an unsung cointributor!!!!!!! I also am awaiting Angling Giants by Dr Herd, also from Medlar. Another book I am awaiting is from Ken Smith Pubs: http://kensmithpublishing.com/angling.htm The Irish Mayfly book is outstanding (Great photos), as is the one "Angling with the Fly" on the Dovedale region. Both super. The Irish style book is great too. I am awaiting the book on Woolley.

Oh yes, the Dovedale region - it is one of the marks on my map for a coming 'Pilgrimage' hopefully next year - to visit the Dove Dales. Sneake into the Walton/Cotton Fishing Temple of the private ground - previously belonging to the now long gone Beresford Hall - where Mr. Cotton resided. The 8-10 day journey is planned with a good flyfishing friend, and will include visiting the graves of Izaak Walton in Winchester, Mr. Marryat in Salishbury and perhaps Carles Cotton in London. Also walking (fishing?) along the famous rivers Test, Itchen and Vale - in footsteps of both Marryat, Halford and Skues a.o. No rush, time to sit down and think here and there - in other words as the old Master said "Study to be Quite" - and just listen. Man I can't wait ! Reeldane
