Christian,
In Pennsylvania Angler, December 1955, published by the Pennsylvania Fish Commission, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. As stated in contents "COVER and art work throughout by Bob Cypher." Hope that helps - glad that you enjoy the cover. NB

The last "cover possibility" listed comes from the collection of George Mendoza, p. 95, Secret Places of Trout Fisherman...

NB,
Those are great covers, looks like "Dad" is rigging up his Black Beauty in the May 55 cover. Great stuff!! |

Pretty good, I didn't see it, but you're right. The good old (or maybe just the old) days - my,my it was different then... Glad that all this is enjoyable... NB

Bob,
Yes, Leonard Wright... his books are in a special corner of my bookshelf. Bob, if one could be "beamed around in time," in the realm of fishing I would like nothing better than to be able to walk with Mr. Wright as he talked of his Neversink waters. And if we could both throw around a GFV (Grey Fox Variant)at dusk together, all would be fine. NB

If any of you have the photos from PA Angler of Eisenhower, the Fly Fishing President, I would be happy to purchase the magazine from you. Mine was lost in a
move. I needed some clear photos of Ike flyfishing. Thanks,
Catskill
