I've been chasing the Salmon Fly hatch up the Deschutes River this spring, having lots of fun. Here's a good example of a fish that made a whole day
of bushwhacking and dodging rattly critters worthwhile...
. . . and here's one of the 2 rattly critters that I almost stepped on in one day...
