Hello,
I am a member of the Harry and Laura Nohr Chapter of Trout Unlimited. We are making plans to host our 3 annual Spring Creek Festival on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at the Kohout Campground on beautiful Castle Rock Creek which is located on County Q near Montfort, WI in Grant County. (See Map Below) The Festival is a great way to end the year and learn skills for the upcoming year.
Highlights of this year's events include...
Programs
Advanced Casting Techniques, One on One casting tune-up, Casting for Beginners, Introduction to Fly Fishing, Multiple Perspectives on Fishing a Section of Stream, Building a Bamboo Flyrod, Stream Shocking Demonstration and Fly Tying Demonstrations.
Rod Raffle
1st Prize: Paul Douglas 7' 3" 4/5 Weight Bamboo Rod (2 piece, 2 Tips)
2nd Prize: Sage 7'8" 3/4 Weight VT3794 (4 piece rod) built by Rich Braun
There will also be a bucket raffle with many great prizes taking place during the day.
Food
There will be food available on site

All proceeds from the festival will go into the management and Habitat Improvement of local streams.
After our meeting last weekend, the Festvial Committee decided to have a special web deal for those who download our festival brochure and bring the registration form in. The link below if for the festival brochure. Bring in the completed form to the festival as an entry for a special drawing. There will be similar brochures at the Festival but they will not have the special web raffle information at the bottom of the entry form.
