While this is not exactly pertinent to classic fly rods, lots of forum members are anglers, salt water anglers particularly and also anglers who read. So I am
hoping to sneak this past the censor. Does anyone know of a good book about fly fishing for red fish? I know saltwater fly fishing for stripers, blues, bones,
tarpon. I know nothing about reds but plan to make a trip for them next year. Time to read up. I would also appreciate any suggestions about where, when and

Bill,
I have found good tailers in North and South Carolina, as well Georgia. Tide and the moon phases are the most important thing to watch. Most of the marsh flats can only be fished at high tide, and for some reason, at least in NC, they tend to be hungrier during a full moon.
